Katherine Plavan Bio

Katherine Plavan is a Managing Director in Business Development at Pretium, where she is responsible for managing investor relationships. Prior to joining Pretium in 2021, Katie worked at The Amherst Group as the Head of Investor Relations in New York. Previously, she was a Partner at MKP Capital Management leading Investor Relations, and a Senior Vice President at Lehman Brothers in Securitized Products Distribution. Katie began her career in the Capital Markets Group at Arthur Andersen. Katie received a Bachelor's in Accountancy from Villanova University and a MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School. ​
