Jonathan Meltzer Bio

Jonathan Meltzer is a Senior Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer of Client Relationship Strategy at Pretium, where he is responsible for client relationships across the firm’s residential and corporate credit platforms, as well as Pretium’s firmwide debt financing.​ Jon is a member of the firm's Executive Committee. Prior to joining Pretium in 2017, Jon was a Partner at Goldman Sachs where he was the Chief Operating Officer of FICC North American Sales and Co-Head of North American Credit Sales. Prior to Goldman, Jon was Vice President in Credit Sales with Lehman Brothers. He began his career in insurance sales at Tanenbaum-Harber & Co. and the Barasch Group.​ Jon received a Bachelor's from Johns Hopkins University and a MBA in Finance from the Stern School of Business at New York University. He serves on the Board of the Positive Coaching Alliance and the Board of Advisors at the Trinity Hall School.​
