Jonathan Babkow Bio

Jon Babkow is a Senior Managing Director and Head of Residential Credit at Pretium, where he is responsible for the management of the residential credit business.​ Jon is a member of the Firm's Executive Committee. Jon joined Pretium in 2018 with over 25 years of experience in mortgage trading and investing. Prior to Pretium, Jon was a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs, where he was Head of Residential Loan Trading. Previously, he was a Senior Managing Director at Bear Stearns, where he oversaw the Global Distressed Residential Loan business, Mortgage Servicing business and the Residential Mortgage Origination businesses in Europe and Asia. ​He received a Bachelor's from Franklin & Marshall College, where he serves on the Board of Trustees.
