Tom Weidaw Bio

Tom currently serves as Prairie’s Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer. Prior to Prairie, Tom was a Deputy CFO at Magnetar Capital LLC in charge of finance and accounting for the management companies. During his tenure at Magnetar, Tom managed teams responsible for corporate accounting, financial planning & analysis, tax, and vendor procurement. Prior to Magnetar, Tom was a Director-Finance at GTCR, LLC responsible for the firm’s portfolio company valuation process. In addition, Tom prepared materials for investor meetings and fundraising, and worked with portfolio company CFOs on financial reporting and cost saving initiatives. Tom began his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP working for audit and advisory clients primarily in the financial services sector.
