Alex Bean Bio

Alex is a Partner with Plexus Capital. He serves on the investment committee and heads the firm’s new deal execution effort. He is also active in fundraising, sourcing new investment opportunities, and portfolio company oversight. Alex joined Plexus in 2010 as an Associate. Alex began his career in the investment banking division of BB&T Capital Markets (now BB&T Securities), focusing on sell-side M&A transactions and public equity offerings. Alex is a graduate of the University of North Carolina where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.
