Platina Partners LLP is a private investment firm focused on traditional buyouts as well as investments in renewable energy projects. Platina's buyout group targets UK and France-based business-to-business service companies as well as industrial businesses. Platina will commit between €10 and €30 million of equity for controlling stakes in companies with an enterprise value of up to €50 million. Platina's renewable energy group focuses on opportunities across Europe at all stages of development. The renewable energy group typically commits between €5 and €3 million at the development stage and up to €50 million of equity in the construction and operational stages of projects based on proven technologies dealing with wind, solar, and biomass. Platina Partners was formed in 2002 and is based in London with additional offices in Paris, Milan and Luxembourg.
