Mike Zani is the CEO of The Predictive Index (PI), where he sets the company’s strategic direction with a focus on global growth, innovation, and delivering exceptional client outcomes. Under his leadership, PI has grown from $16 million to over $100 million in revenue, expanded its product suite, and completed acquisitions including the Learning Indicator and Charma. Before PI, Mike was CEO of ShapeUp (2009–2012), a social SaaS wellness platform serving Fortune 500 companies and health plans. There, he oversaw 600% revenue growth in just three years and helped secure two rounds of venture funding. Earlier in his career, Mike spearheaded the acquisition and growth of Law Enforcement Development Company (LEDCO) and ChargeGuard, transforming them into the world’s largest manufacturer of rugged docking stations and peripherals for first responders, the military, and global field agents. Under his leadership, LEDCO grew revenues 350% in four years before merging with industry leader Havis-Shields. In 2002, Mike co-founded Phoenix Strategy Investments, a private investment firm focused on high-potential companies. He began his career building Vanguard Sailboats, then the largest sailboat manufacturer in North America, and coached the 1996 U.S. Olympic Sailing Team during the Atlanta Games. Mike holds a B.S. from Brown University and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He lives in Portsmouth, Rhode Island, with his family, where they spend as much time on the water as possible.
