Valentine Chitalu Bio

Valentine, a qualified accountant, started his career at KPMG in the United Kingdom (UK) before relocating to Zambia to join Meridien Financial Services. As Chief Executive Officer at the Zambia Privatisation Agency, he led the privatisation of about 240 companies. In the late 90s, he joined The Commonwealth Development Corporation/Actis (London and Lusaka) responsible for cross-border deal origination throughout Africa and investment portfolio management in Zambia and Malawi. Valentine still holds several board positions in Angola, Zambia, Australia, South Africa and the UK.
