Paola is a qualified attorney in South Africa with over 7 years’ experience, specialising in funds and investments law, private equity fund structuring and mergers and acquisitions transactions. Before joining Phatisa, she was a Senior Associate at Bowmans and Webber Wentzel and formed part of the Corporate Investment Banking team at Absa Bank Limited, where she completed a successful secondment. Paola holds a BCom (finance), LLB degree (with distinction) and LLM degree from the University of the Witwatersrand and has successfully completed the Advanced Course for Private Equity at the Gordon Institute of Business Science.
