Eugene Stals Bio

Eugene is a seasoned private equity and investment professional with deep operational experience. He was a senior partner at Ethos Private Equity in Johannesburg, South Africa. Eugene was instrumental in the formation of Ethos and the introduction of black economic empowerment to the business. In all, he spent many years in executive, board and investment committee capacities at Ethos. Eugene has a successful track record over the whole private equity value chain. He has also fulfilled roles as an executive in and has consulted to companies on strategic and operational issues in Australia before joining Phatisa.
