John Trang Bio

John has over a decade of experience in private equity, corporate strategy and corporate development. In 2013, John joined Persistence Capital Partners and is currently responsible for all aspects of the investment process from sourcing, evaluating and executing on investment opportunities to managing existing investments. Prior to joining PCP, John was a Vice President at TorQuest Partners, one of Canada’s largest generalist private equity funds. He also worked in the United Kingdom for Lloyds Banking Group in their Strategy and Corporate Development Group and at UBS in Mergers & Acquisitions. John currently serves as a member of the Ontario Board of Directors of the Canadian Cancer Society, the only national charity that supports Canadians with all cancers in communities across the country. John holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from Queen’s University.
