Paul Ernster Bio

Paul Ernster joined Pelican Energy Partners in 2019 as an Associate. His responsibilities include analysis and evaluation of investment opportunities, financial modeling, due diligence, transaction execution, and portfolio company monitoring. Prior to joining Pelican, Paul was an Associate at Nine Energy Service. While at Nine, Paul worked on the acquisitions of Magnum Oil Tools and Frac Technology as well as the divestiture of the well service business. He began his career at Pacific Drilling, working in various roles in the corporate planning, finance, and commercial departments. Paul graduated from Rice University with a BA in Mathematical Economic Analysis. In his free time Paul enjoys skiing, indoor rock climbing, and the Houston food scene.
