Matt Fifield Bio

Since 2016 Matt has led Pacific Road using a concentrated value investment style, focusing on active ownership, and forging an expansive vision of responsible investment in natural resources. Matt developed his investment philosophy over 20 years by working in natural resources as company founder, private capital investor, corporate executive, and mining financier. During his career, Matt has participated in over $7.5 billion of mergers, acquisitions and capital raisings in mining. Grandson of a metallurgist, Matt got his start in mining as a geology field hand exploring for precious metals in Idaho.
