Ben Shank Bio

Ben Shank joined Paceline in August 2021 and is responsible for underwriting and asset management of various investments within the firm’s real estate strategy. Prior to joining Paceline, he was most recently a Senior Analyst at Starwood Property Trust (“SPT”), a publicly traded Commercial REIT, where he worked in the firm’s distressed loan workout group following a wave of COVID-related defaults. Prior to this, Ben completed SPT’s 2.5-year Analyst Rotation Program, which included Acquisitions, Asset Management, and Capital Markets. He also worked for a year at a consumer packaged goods startup where he focused on business development and operations. Ben received a Bachelor of Arts in Financial Economics from Wabash College where he graduated Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa.
