Evan Caplan Bio

Evan joined OrbiMed in 2018 and is a Principal focused on venture investments in therapeutics, medical devices, and other areas within healthcare. Prior to joining OrbiMed, he advised private and public biotech and medtech companies as an investment banker at J.P. Morgan. Evan received a B.A. in Economics from Middlebury College, an M.D. from Harvard Medical School, and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. Outside the office, he can be found playing tennis, eating bagels, and chasing his daughter.
