Jacob Brewer Bio

Jake joined Orangewood Partners in 2023 where he is a Managing Director-Operations and involved in sourcing, and deal execution with a particular focus on operations across Orangewood Partner’s investments. Prior to joining Orangewood Partners, Jake spent 15 years in restaurant operations, strategy, and technology. Most recently Jake was Chief Strategy Officer at Miso Robotics. Miso is a tech scale-up that focuses on back-of-house restaurant robotics. At Miso, Jake led product strategy, marketing, fund raising and general corporate strategy. Prior to Miso, Jake was VP of Restaurant Excellence at CKE restaurants, which is owned by Roark Capital. The first 10 years was spent at escalating roles in operations and support for Yum! Brands and the Kroger Co. Jake graduated with a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University. He is from Louisville, Ky.
