Evan Cohen Bio

Evan joined Orangewood Partners in 2023 as the Chief Compliance Officer and Vice President of Operations. Prior to joining Orangewood Partners, Evan was the Chief Compliance Officer and Vice President at Melvin Capital Management LP, a long-short equity fund. Prior to Melvin, Evan worked at Point72 Asset Management (formerly Sigma Capital Management/SAC Capital Advisors) as a trader and later as a compliance officer. Evan began his career at PaineWebber and also worked at Goldman Sachs/Spear, Leeds & Kellogg. Evan graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, with a concentration in Finance. He also received a Master of Business Administration degree from the NYU Stern School of Business and is a CFA charterholder.
