Kosty Gilis Bio

Kosty is responsible for Onex Partners’ efforts in the Business Services sector. Since joining Onex, Kosty has worked on several private equity transactions, including the acquisitions of Analytic Partners, ASM Global (formerly SMG), Clarivate Analytics, WireCo WorldGroup, Emerald Expositions, the going-private purchase of Tomkins/Gates, as well as the acquisition of Allison Transmission. He serves on the boards of Analytic Partners, Clarivate Analytics (NYSE:CCC) and Emerald Expositions (NYSE:EEX) and ASM Global and previously served on the boards ofTomkins/Gates, Allison Transmission (NYSE:ALSN) and WireCo WorldGroup. Kosty is also a member of the board of the Doug Philpott Inner City Children's Tennis Fund. Prior to joining Onex, Kosty worked at Willis Stein & Partners, a Chicago-based private equity firm and was a management consultant at Bain & Company in the firm's Toronto and Johannesburg offices. Kosty holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.S., Economics (magna Cum Laude) from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
