David Copeland Bio

David has overall responsibility for Onex’ tax and fund finance functions for our private equity platforms. In addition, David is responsible for various aspects of our equity-based investment and compensation plans. Prior to joining Onex, David was a Senior Tax Manager in the Mergers & Acquisitions group at Deloitte’s Toronto office focused on the acquisition, financing and disposition of international organizations. David is a Chartered Professional Accountant. He also holds an M.B.A. from the University of Toronto and a B.A. from the University of Western Ontario.
