Rick Lau Bio

Rick is responsible for the finance function for OMERS Private Equity, including financial and management reporting, deal team support and forecasting and budgeting. Prior to joining OMERS, Rick was Manager of Finance at a Canadian private equity firm, later serving as the Senior Director of Finance at one of its portfolio companies. His past professional experience includes roles with public accounting firms, where he led audits and tax engagements for clients in a broad variety of industries. Rick holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from University of Toronto, and is a Chartered Professional Accountant and a Certified Public Accountant (DE).
