Robert Wu Bio

Mr. Wu is a senior vice president in Oaktree’s GFI Energy Group, which executes the Power Opportunities investment strategy. He is involved in all aspects of the group’s investment activities, including identifying potential investment opportunities, executing transactions and portfolio company oversight. Mr. Wu currently serves on the boards of ITG Communications, Richards Manufacturing and is a board observer for System One Services. He was previously a board member of Saber Power Services and as a board observer of ArchKey Solutions and TPI Composite. Prior to joining Oaktree in 2020, Mr. Wu was at Flexis Capital, where he pursued private equity investments within telecom, services and industrial sectors with a focus on the critical infrastructure value chain. Previously, Mr. Wu was a member of the NBA’s Strategic Development team and an associate in the private equity division of Quadrangle Group. He began his career at Bear, Stearns & Co.’s technology, media, and telecommunications investment banking practice. Mr. Wu received a B.S. cum laude in applied economics & management and biological sciences from Cornell University.
