Jordan Mikes Bio

Mr. Mikes is a managing director in Oaktree’s Opportunities group in Los Angeles where he provides dedicated private equity, finance, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, securities and restructuring transactional advice and assists with the management of strategy operations. He also serves on several Oaktree portfolio company boards of directors across a number of market sectors. Prior to joining the firm in 2013, Mr. Mikes worked as an associate in the New York and Los Angeles offices of Sullivan & Cromwell LLP, where his practice focused on corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, general securities law and corporate governance. Mr. Mikes graduated with a B.A. degree in legal studies with high honors from the University of California, Berkeley. He went on to graduate summa cum laude with a J.D. from the University of Arizona, James E. Rogers College of Law, where he was a member of the Arizona Law Review and Order of the Coif. Mr. Mikes is a member of the State Bars of New York and California.
