François Laflamme Bio

François Laflamme has been involved in the technology sector as entrepreneur, technology innovator and private equity investor. He holds an Electrical Engineering Degree from École Polytechnique of Montreal and an MBA in Finance from HEC Montreal. Mr. Laflamme also completed the Entrepreneurship Development Program from MIT. Mr. Laflamme has over 30 years of experience in managing technology companies. He was President and CEO of LiquidxStream Systems, a telecom equipment company in the Novacap portfolio. He was also a Partner at IUGO Ventures, a venture-capital fund specialized in the TMT industry, where he led several investments in technology companies based in Canada and the US. In addition, he was Vice-President of IP Telephony at Videotron, where he pioneered the introduction of local telephony. Mr. Laflamme joined Novacap in 2012. Mr. Laflamme is currently member of the Board of Logibec, Horizon and Stratus.
