Allison Kingsley Bio

Allison Kingsley is a Founder of NOVA and a Partner. Allison is an experienced infrastructure investor with 24 years of professional experience, including work in infrastructure investing, investment banking, and global strategy and risk. She serves on NOVA’s Investment, Valuation, and Executive Committees. Currently, Allison serves on the Boards of Directors for Fund I/II’s portfolio companies Bold Ocean (realized), Harbor Logistics, A&R Bulk-Pak, and DartPoints. Since 2017, Allison has built NOVA with Chris Beall, forming the NOVA Team and leading the execution of infrastructure investments in NOVA’s Target Sectors. From 2010 to 2017, Allison was a full-time business school professor and advised on investments and corporate strategy as an independent consultant. From 2006 to 2010, Allison worked as a Director for Reformation, a firm sponsored by PartnerRe for the purposes of investing in global infrastructure, and also invested in direct investments for PartnerRe’s Principal Finance Group. From 2003 to 2006, Allison worked at the public financial guarantor Ambac where she was Vice President in the Emerging Markets Group and formerly Assistant Vice President in the Public & Project Finance Group focusing on North America. At the beginning of her career, she worked at Lehman Brothers as an Investment Banking Associate in the M&A and Power Groups. In addition, as a political economist and former tenured business professor, Allison has published research on infrastructure investing and, from 2003 to 2017, taught business, strategy, political economy, and risk courses at the University of Vermont, Yale University, and New York University. Currently, she serves on the Board of Directors for YWCA Greenwich (CT) and Phillips Infrastructure Holdings. Allison earned a Ph.D. in political economy from Columbia University, an M.S.L. from Yale Law School, and a B.A. with honors from Rice University.
