TJ Gaul Bio

TJ joined North Branch Capital in 2017 and has over 10 years of middle market M&A experience. Prior to joining North Branch, TJ worked at Pfingsten Partners, a middle market, industrial focused private equity firm where he was involved in all aspects of deal origination, execution and portfolio management. He also spent time in Robert W. Baird’s investment banking division advising middle market companies in sellside and buyside M&A transactions. TJ earned his BBA from the University of Notre Dame. TJ brings a fresh perspective to college football at North Branch, often reminding his Michigan-loving partners that South Bend is far superior to Ann Arbor, both athletically and academically. When not cheering on the Fighting Irish, TJ enjoys running and playing golf. Committed to improving Chicago’s educational landscape, TJ and his wife volunteer and support Learn Charter School Network, a non-profit organization of K-8 schools in Chicago’s most vulnerable communities.
