Nick Johansson Bio

Nick joined North Branch Capital in 2018 and has over 10 years of middle market M&A experience. Prior to joining North Branch, Nick worked at Pfingsten Partners, a middle market, industrial focused private equity firm where he was involved in all aspects of deal origination, execution and portfolio management. He also spent time in Mesirow’s investment banking division advising middle market companies in sellside and buyside M&A transactions. Nick earned his BS from North Park University. A native of Sweden, Nick believes he brings some much needed international sophistication to the North Branch organization, constantly educating his partners on the real game of football (with little success to date). When Nick is not creating overly detailed spreadsheets for no practical reason, he enjoys running, cooking and traveling in his spare time.
