Charles Palmer Bio

Mr. Palmer co-founded North American Funds in 1989 and is a Managing Partner of the firm. He is also the Managing Partner of North American Company LLLP, a Florida-based family partnership for a Florida and Chicago based family. He has held that position since 1972. Prior to joining North American Company, Mr. Palmer was a founder, Vice President and subsequently a director of Heizer Corporation beginning in 1981 when Heizer became the first public Business Development Company. Previously he was with the Private Placement Division of Allstate Insurance Company and with Price Waterhouse & Co. Mr. Palmer has a B.S.B.A. from Georgetown University and an M.B.A. from Northwestern University.
