Joost Sars Bio

Coming from an entrepreneurial family, Joost has been exposed to what drives entrepreneurs from a young age. His curiosity and passion for numbers were further sharpened during his studies in Aerospace Engineering. Through strategic consulting work at OC&C Strategy Consultants in the Netherlands, Germany, and Spain, he found his way into Private Equity as one of the co-founders of Nordian – a field where his curiosity and entrepreneurial spirit align perfectly. Joost is interested in the world and the people around him. During a sabbatical, he spent six months in Bolivia helping local entrepreneurs develop their businesses and also served as interim CEO of Jumpsquare, one of Nordian's former portfolio companies. In his free time, Joost enjoys sailing on the Dutch waters, plays tennis weekly, and coaches his children’s football or hockey teams from the sidelines.
