David Peterson Bio

David Peterson is a Partner at NMS, having joined the firm in 2012 as an Associate. David is involved in all aspects of origination, execution, managing and exiting for the firm’s investments. Prior to joining NMS, from 2010 to 2012, David was an Associate at Waud Capital Partners (WCP), a Chicago-based, middle market private equity firm focused on healthcare and business services investments. During his tenure at WCP, David was responsible for identifying and evaluating investment opportunities, conducting due diligence, and monitoring the firm’s investments. Prior to joining WCP, David was an Analyst from 2008 to 2010 in the Healthcare Investment Banking Group of Houlihan Lokey in Chicago, where he worked on a variety of M&A transactions and equity and debt financings across many healthcare services sectors, including home health, hospice, long-term care, and behavioral health. He started his career as an Analyst at Dresner Partners in 2007. David earned a B.B.A., with high distinction, in Finance and Accounting and a minor in Economics from the University of Michigan in 2007.
