After beginning his career within a consulting firm, then a large French bank, Jean-Paul joined the private equity sector in 1989 where he gradually specialized in the IT and services sectors. In 2004, he joined N.I Partners, which later became NiXEN. Jean-Paul is involved in the development and promotion of the private equity profession, having played an important role in the AFIC (now France Invest), where he was Chairman of the Development Capital Commission from 2008 to 2009, and Vice-Chairman of the association's Board of Directors from 2009 to 2010. He has been involved since 2008 with the Entrepreneurs du Monde association of which he is currently a member from the Board of Directors.
