Alex Smith Bio

Alex Smith is a Vice President at NewRoad Capital Partners, where he is primarily responsible for identifying and analyzing investment opportunities. He supports the team in all aspects of the investment decision making process, deal execution and the continual management of portfolio companies. Immediately prior to joining NewRoad Capital Partners, Alex was a senior associate at Kingswood Capital Management, a private equity firm focused on businesses experiencing operational, financial, or market-driven change. Prior to Kingswood, he was an associate at Comvest Partners and an analyst at Barclays Investment Bank in New York in the Communications and Media coverage group. Alex holds a BS in Finance and Economics from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College, where he graduated magna cum laude.
