Dandan Lai Bio

Dandan joined NewQuest in 2022 and is responsible for sourcing, execution and portfolio management of investments in China. Dandan has a focus on Financial Services and TMT industries and has also invested in companies in the business services and education sectors. Prior to joining NewQuest, Dandan was a Senior Vice President at StepStone Group focusing on secondaries in Asia, and a Vice President at TPG Capital Asia focusing on direct investments in China. She started her career in Hong Kong with J.P Morgan's Investment Banking Division as an assoicate. Dandan has a Bachelor's degree from Shanghai Fudan University. Dandan is fluent in English and Mandarin.
