Bob Brown Bio

Mr. Brown co-founded MVP in 1985. Mr. Brown has been active in the private equity and venture capital business for over thirty years and was instrumental in the establishment of the industry in the Philadelphia area. Prior to MVP, Mr. Brown was a principal in a merchant banking firm active in private equity. He began his professional career with Arthur Andersen. Following Andersen, he joined Buckeye Pipeline Company, a subsidiary of The Penn Central Corporation, as a financial analyst. After Buckeye, Mr. Brown practiced corporate tax law at the firm of Morgan, Lewis & Bockius in Philadelphia. Mr. Brown is a graduate of Princeton University, the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and the Law School of the University of Pennsylvania.
