Colin Mitchell Bio

Colin graduated with a joint degree in Accountancy and Business Studies from the University of Edinburgh and completed his ICAS qualification with KPMG in Edinburgh. In 1997, Colin joined the Murray Group as part of the Group Finance Team. He moved to Sydney in 2000 to run a football club acquired by Rangers Football Club plc before returning to Scotland in 2002 to work at Charlotte Ventures, the investment arm of the Murray Group. In 2004, Colin moved into Murray’s growing commercial property business, PPG, taking on the Finance Director role. Colin left the Murray Group in 2014 and moved into Finance Director roles in residential housebuilding with Barratt & David Wilson Homes and subsequently Robertson Residential Group. After 11 years, Colin has returned as Group Finance Director of Murray Capital covering all financial and tax aspects as well as a number of family assets, including a French vineyard.
