Michael Goy Bio

Michael is the Managing Partner and founder of MPG Equity Partners LLC. He is responsible for identifying target companies, conducting due diligence, negotiating deal terms, and managing acquired companies. Prior to founding MPG Equity Partners, Michael was a founding member of Foros Group, an investment banking advisory firm based in New York. In 2011, he helped Foros achieve a top 15 ranking in the Thomson Reuters US M&A league tables. Prior to Foros, Michael worked in the Mergers & Acquisitions group at JPMorgan in New York. ​Michael also worked as an MBA Associate with Sterling Partners, a Chicago-based growth focused private equity firm with ~$5 billion AUM. Michael earned a Master in Business Administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, graduating with Honors, and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, graduating with High Academic Honors and Highest Leadership Distinction. Michael currently serves as a Global Shaper Fellow in Chicago for the World Economic Forum. In November of 2014, Acquisition International named Michael to the list of "Ones to Watch".
