Geoff Laporte Bio

Geoff Laporte is Head of Business Development for Morgan Stanley Capital Partners (MSCP). He joined Morgan Stanley in 2018 and is based in New York. Geoff is responsible for deal origination and developing relationships with intermediaries, business owners, and industry executives. Previously, he held a deal execution role at Wellspring Capital, a New York based middle market private equity fund, prior to forming and leading their business development function. He began his career at Citigroup in both the Industrials Investment Banking and Leveraged Finance divisions. Geoff holds a B.A. in Economics from Vanderbilt University.
