Richard Babington Bio

Richard joined Mobeus as an Investment Director in 2014 and was made a Partner in the firm the following year. He sits on the investment committee of Mobeus’s buyout fund and is a veteran of more than a dozen UK buyouts. Having worked in industry for five years before making the switch to private equity, Richard has hands-on, practical experience of what it takes to grow and develop the companies he invests in. Richard represents us directly on the board of several businesses, including Cooper Coated Coil, Kinneir Dufort and Master Removers Group.
