Elwin started as Operational Partner at MKB Fonds on January 6, 2025. Together with the other Operational Partner (Ruben Weemers), he will mainly be involved in actively supporting the participations of MKB Fonds. He will spend most of his time at the companies to support them with various projects, such as ERP migrations, setting up good financial administration and reporting, as well as optimizing the organization and cost control. Elwin started his career as an investment analyst at Waterland Private Equity. After four years in this position, he was an M&A advisor at KPMG for five years, before working for one more year at hands-on investor Nedvest Capital. He then worked as CFO at various companies for 10 years, the most recent of which was technical service provider Nexton (240 employees). He supervised the sale of Nexton to Dura Vermeer at the end of 2024 and then immediately made the switch to MKB Fonds.
