Sung-woo Ahn Bio

Sung-woo Ahn is the President of Mirae Asset PE. Since joining Mirae Asset PE in 2013, he has led the division's overall deal origination, investments, and post-investment management efforts. He is currently a member of Mirae Asset Global Investment's Investment Committee. Prior to joining our firm, Mr. Ahn was a Director at Citi's Investment Banking Division, where he provided M&A advisory services to global firms. Prior to Citi, he also worked as an Associate at Booze Allen & Hamilton in New York. He has over 26 years of combined experience in the private equity and investment banking field. Mr. Ahn received a Bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School. Mr. Ahn currently serves on the boards of directors of CHA Healthcare Co., Ltd. and CJ Healthcare Corp.
