Matthew Strassberg Bio

Matthew is a Partner and Head of the Healthcare sector. He serves on the Management and Investment Committees. He has been involved in all of the firm’s healthcare services investments: Regina Maria, MediGroup, Diagnostyka, Alpha Medical, Kent Hospital Group and Lux Med Group as well as a number of other transactions including Walmark, Bite, Invitel and Aster. Matthew joined the London office in 2002 and became a Partner in 2007. During his tenure with the firm, he has served as Chair of the Investment Committee, Co-Managing Partner and Co-Head of the Warsaw Office. Prior to joining MidEuropa, Matthew worked in investment banking with Merrill Lynch and JPMorgan, in London and New York and for TLC Capital Partners, the New York-based private investment firm of Reginald F. Lewis. Matthew holds an MBA from INSEAD in Fontainebleau and a Bachelor’s in Economics from The University of Chicago. Outside work he enjoys spending time and travelling with his family.
