Alain Beyens Bio

Alain is an Operating Partner and Head of the Operating and Portfolio Team. He serves on the Management and Investment Committees. Alain is primarily focused on portfolio companies in the Consumer and Services sector. He has worked on the Waberer’s, Cargus, Mlinar, Profi, Hortex, Imlek, Knjaz Milos and Bambi transactions and currently serves as Chairman on the boards of Mlinar and Hortex. Prior to joining MidEuropa, Alain was member of the Executive Committee of ABInbev and served as the CEO of two PE-backed consumer companies, Starbev and Pelican Rouge. Alain graduated as commercial engineer from the Solvay Business School in Brussels. In his free time, he enjoys endurance sports and boating.
