John Grogan Bio

John joined MFG in 2016, shortly after its founding. Within the current portfolio holdings, he is the deal lead on Mail Communications Group, Elgen Manufacturing, and CST Utilities. Additionally, he served as deal lead on LCR Contractors, Alliance Environmental Group, and Storage Solutions while they were portfolio companies and through their successful sales and exits. Prior to joining MFG, John was an Associate at Gapstow Capital Partners, where he completed several platform acquisitions, add-on acquisitions, and investment exits focused on the financial services industry. John began his career at KPMG within the Transaction Services practice, where he worked on multiple transactions across a variety of industries. John graduated with a BS in Accounting from the University at Albany Honors College, Summa Cum Laude. He holds an MBA from Columbia Business School, where he was a graduate of the Private Equity Fellows Program.
