Julian Weldon currently serves as the General Counsel of Metropolitan Partners Group. Julian has over 27 years of experience in legal and credit markets ranging from portfolio level investments to strategic investor and operating partner relationships, financings and product development. Prior to joining Metropolitan, Julian spent over seven years as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at CIFC and six years at Garrison Investment Group also as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer. Julian began his career at Allen & Overy LLP in New York and London. Julian holds a L.L.B. in Law from the University of East Anglia, England, is qualified as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England & Wales and is admitted to the New York Bar.
