Douglas Gold is the Chief Accounting Officer & SVP of Finance at Metropolitan Partners Group. Prior to joining Metropolitan in 2020, Doug was Controller at H.I.G. Capital. Doug has more than 20 years of experience working in the alternative investment industry in all aspects of investment management, having built and managed the finance, operations, tax, and reporting functions at established firms, including King Street Capital, R3 Capital, and Greywolf Capital. Doug began his career as an accountant at Rothstein Kass prior to joining the finance division at Goldman Sachs. He graduated with a B.S. in Accounting from Binghamton University and is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of New York.
