Barend Rutten Bio

After studying economics, Barend started his career as a strategy consultant. He then held various management positions in the consumer sector at home and abroad, including developing a retail chain in India. At Mentha, he applies his leadership and managerial experience as well as his broad knowledge of different business models and markets gained as consultant, manager and investor. Barend loves challenges and enjoys creating and exploiting new opportunities. He is team-oriented and seeing his colleagues and the companies grow makes him really happy.
