Sara Bencherif Bio

Sara Bencherif joined Mediterrania Capital Partners as a Senior Associate in February 2023 and was promoted to Investment Director in July 2024. With more than 10 years of private equity investing experience, Sara’s professional career began at Ernst & Young Casablanca as a Transaction Advisory Services Consultant, participating in buy- and sell-side financial due diligence on several companies across the MENA region and Africa. Sara then joined BMCE Capital, the investment banking arm of Bank of Africa, where she first worked as an M&A associate and then as an investment manager within the group’s private equity firm. During that time, Sara was involved in various transaction phases, including market research, business modelling and valuation, gaining strong analytical and financial skills across many industries and consolidating her knowledge of the African region. Based in the Casablanca office, as Investment Director, Sara is involved in a number of investment projects and funds.
