Miguel Moleres Bio

Miguel joined Mediterrania Capital Partners in April 2018 as Financial Controller and later became Head of Finance. In his role, Miguel is responsible for the overall financial management of the company including accounting, financial statements, auditing, treasury and budgeting functions. In 2020 Miguel also gained responsibilities over Mediterrania Capital Partners’ operations. Today, as Chief Operating Officer, Miguel is in charge of planning and monitoring the day-to-day running of the business to ensure smooth progress while overseeing the administrative and operations functions of the Mediterrania Capital Partners’ group. Miguel began his career as a financial auditor with RSM Barcelona, then he joined KPMG. In both firms, he was involved in projects from small-medium sized companies to multi-national companies and listed organisations. Working in the industry and retail audit departments allowed him to develop excellent analytical skills. Miguel then joined FJVA, one of the most prominent tax and financial services providers in Malta, where he was a member of the accounts department and gained international exposure servicing a portfolio of clients. Miguel holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law from Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC) and a Bachelor’s degree in Management and Business Administration from the University of Barcelona. He specialised in Finance and Audit. He is fluent in English, Catalan and Spanish.
