Stephen Lewis Bio

Stephen Lewis has been working with small businesses since 1989, starting as a strategic and operations consultant and evolving to a small business owner, and ultimately to an investor and portfolio manager. As a senior member of Medallion Capital’s management team, Steve has been involved in over 65 investments since 1998, serving as a member of the Investment Committee, underwriting most deals and monitoring many. Mr. Lewis has served on several corporate boards and currently focuses on strategic growth of the portfolio. He is a past President of the Midwest Region of the Small Business Investor Alliance (SBIA) and also served on its National Board of Governors. Mr. Lewis has a BS in Mechanical Engineering and an MS in Industrial Engineering from Ohio University. When not working on deals, Steve can be found in his fishing boat or riding his Harley.
