Jong-Ha James Yoon Bio

Jong-Ha James Yoon is a Partner based in Korea. Prior to MBK Partners, Dr. Yoon was a co-head of Korea for Carlyle Asia Partners. Prior to Carlyle, he was a Managing Director at Financial Advisory Services at KPMG in Seoul. He served as a First Lieutenant in the Korean Air Force and as Deputy Assistant to the Minister of National Defense for International Affairs. Dr. Yoon has a BA from Georgetown University, Master of Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School and a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Chicago. Dr. Yoon currently serves on the boards of directors of Dongjin Textile, NEPA and MH&Co. He is also a member of the advisory board of Public Officials Benefit Association of Korea.
