Hannu joined the MB Funds team in 1997. Prior to this he was involved in venture capital and private equity activities in the mid-1980s, setting up Finland's first venture capital fund, Suomen Riskirahasto Ky I. From 1981, Hannu spent 10 years at the Industrialization Fund of Finland Ltd as a finance officer, research manager, director and corporate president. Subsequently Hannu was a member of the board, Managing Director and Chairman of the Board of Skop-Bank.
